Store Sprinklr Scheduled Exports in a Non-Sprinklr Environment (FTP/SFTP/S3/GCP)

Updated

Sprinklr allows you to store exports in your own databases. We support FTPSFTP, S3, and GCP(Google Cloud Platform) as External Storage options to store exports externally. Through this External Storage support in exports, files can be transferred and stored seamlessly on the client side.

In the Advance & Scheduled Export Settings window, you will see two storage options:

  1. Default: This will send the export in an email. It is checked by default.

  2. External Storage: This will transfer and store your exports externally on FTP, SFTP, S3, and/or GCP(Google Cloud Platform).

Note:

  • In case you select both the storage options, i.e. Default and External Storage, this will send the export in email and also store it in FTP/SFTP/S3/GCP(Google Cloud Platform) (whatever external storage option you have selected).

  • Once the External Storage Source (FTP/SFTP/S3/GCP(Google Cloud Platform)) is set up, the export will be automatically saved in FTP/SFTP/S3 without any manual intervention.

  • You have the ability to edit an existing FTP/SFTP external storage. The edit option (shown on the above screenshot) will allow you to make necessary changes related to FTP/SFTP configuration and prevent you from creating new storage options.

  • You can create your own SFTP folders and establish a connection in the Sprinklr platform to use the SFTP folders.

Set up a new FTP/SFTP/S3/GCP

There are two ways to set up a new external source (FTP/SFTP/S3/GCP) –

  1. Click the New Tab icon. Under the Governance Console tab, click All Settings within Listen.

  2. On the Platform Settings window, search for External Sources and click it.

  3. On the External Sources record manager window, click the Add External Source button in the top right corner.

  4. On the External Source Setup dialog box, select any of the three storage options – FTPSFTP, S3, or GCP. Fill in the relevant information in the given fields.

  5. Click Save.
