Google Campaign Manager FAQs

Updated

Unfortunately, no. As most App ads drive to an in-app experience, we do not have a way to identify which social ad is producing which Google Campaign Manager metric(s).

You can update this through Bulk Import in the Destination Web URL column. This will not change the Post / Story ID, and the post will retain all comments, likes, and engagements. You can also do this on specific ads through Ads Manager in the View/Edit section.

As of now, you cannot use only View Tags on posts with no Web URL.

Unfortunately, Sprinklr’s Google Campaign Manager integration does not support the Google Analytics Auto-Tagging feature.

Yes, you can use Web Analytics and Google Campaign Manager together. For more information, see Use Google Campaign Manager and Web Analytics Simultaneously.

Click tags will be appended to every Destination URL on each Carousel frame used as well as on the See More URL.

Yes. You can use the following dimensions within Ads Reporting and Ads Manager (customized columns) for the same:

  • Landing Page URL: The base URL that users are driven to. When Google Campaign Manager and/or Web Analytics is applied to an ad, it will not be represented in this dimension.

  • Ad Creative Link URL: The URL that is present within an ad. When Google Campaign Manager and/or Web Analytics is applied to an ad, it will be represented in this dimension.

  • DCM Ad Destination URL: The URL that users are driven to after clicking on a Google Campaign Manager Click Tag. This dimension will also include the Web Analytics strings within the URL.

  • If you have a text and a website URL in the Text field, only the Website URL will have Google Campaign Manager configured.

  • If you have two Web URLs in the Text field, only the first URL will have the Google Campaign Manager configured.

  • If you have a website URL within the Text field and an additional website URL within the Website URL field (Ad), the URL within the Website URL field will have Google Campaign Manager configured.
