Importing Stats Files Automatically Using S3

SUMMARY

This article covers how to automatically import files in stats import using amazon S3 after a template has been created.

Automatically import external data using Amazon S3

  1. In the stat import template, slide the Toggle icon alongside select setup Amazon S3

Note:

  • Sprinklr will automatically import data from the given source every 30 minutes.

  • It is mandatory that the data file contains columns for both Date and Unique identifier

  1. Click Save in the bottom right corner of the pop-up window to add your custom template.



Setup Amazon S3

Select Mode of Amazon S3

Select the mode of S3 transfer from the following:

  • Using Credential

  • Using IAM Role

Using Credential

Bucket

Enter the name of your Amazon S3 bucket.

Original Path

Provide the folder path where you want to save your data to if any.

Access Key

Enter the Access Key ID to your S3 bucket, provided by Amazon.

Secret Key

Enter the Secret Access Key to your S3 bucket, provided by Amazon.

Using IAM Role

Bucket

Enter the name of your Amazon S3 bucket.

Original Path

Provide the folder path where you want to save your data to if any.

Provide your Identity and Access Management Role.

Ensure that Sprinklr's Role and Account ID are whitelisted for the IAM role by following the steps below.

  1. Create an IAM role in your account and add Sprinklr’s Role: arn:aws:iam::869367471674:role/sprinklr-cross-account as a trusted entity in the role.

  2. Add List* and Get* permissions to your IAM role to allow it to access the S3 bucket.
