Importing Stats Files Automatically Using SFTP

SUMMARY

This article covers how to automatically import files in stats import using SFTP after a template has been created.

Automatically import external data using SFTP

In the stat import template, slide the Toggle icon alongside select setup SFTP

Note:

Sprinklr will automatically import data from the given source every 30 minutes.
It is mandatory that the data file contains columns for both Date and Unique identifier

Click Save in the bottom right corner of the pop-up window to add your custom template.

Term	Description
Setup FTP
Select Mode of FTP	Select the mode of FTP transfer from the following: SFTP FTP
Host	Enter your domain name or the server IP address.
Username	Enter the username for your file.
Password	Enter the password for your file.
File Path	Provide the file path here. For example: /incoming/cnou.
Please indicate the desired behavior when data is imported for an Ad & Date entry previously imported.
This configuration specifies how Sprinklr should handle the new data. Select the proper option to avoid any data mismatch when the metrics are updated.
Append Data	Select this option to append the file data with the existing data.
Replace Original Data with New Data	Select this option to replace the existing data with the new data from the file.
