Using Stats Import Data in Ads Reporting

Updated

SUMMARY

This article covers how to report on stats import data

Reporting on Stats Import Data

Once the data is imported in Sprinklr either by manual import or automatically using SFTP or Amazon S3, all the metrics, and dimensions will be exposed in Ads Manager, Ads Manager Pivot, and Ads Reporting.

  • In both cases, the name of the metrics and dimensions follows this convention: 'Template Name' + 'Metric/Dimension Name'. So if you have an 'ACME' template with 'Conversion Value' as one of its metrics, you have 'ACME Conversion Value' as a metric to select in Sprinklr.

  • The metrics uploaded in Sprinklr can also be used as the optimization goal for any feature under Strategy Groups. Similarly, it's possible to include these metrics as Paid Rules conditions.

Reporting on Cohort Stats Import Data

You can use the user-generated Cohort metrics and/or dimensions within Ads Manager, Ads Reporting, and Smart Budgeting/Optimizations on the Ad Variant, Ad Set, Paid Initiative, Account, and Channel levels to view the analysis of cohort data.

Note:

If an instance occurs where:

  • The Install/Attribution took place on Aug 1,

  • The Date Range was within Aug 2-3, and

  • The revenue occurred on Aug 2 and Aug 3;

No revenue would appear because Aug 1 was not in the date range and that is when the install took place.
