Create Strategy Group

The Strategy Group capability within Ads Manager helps you easily create and apply various optimizations to your ad campaigns. This capability provides a platform where you can add parameters that are common to multiple optimizations from a single place.

You can add one or more (Smart Budget, Smart Bidding, Pacing Control, Stop Loss, Smart Ad Rotation) optimization within a Smart Strategy and handle all the functions from the Ads Manager.

Before You Begin

You need to have role-level permission for accessing, creating, or viewing Strategy Group in your platform. Follow the steps below to assign a role level permission -

  1. Open a new tab and scroll down to Platform Modules.

  2. Click All Settings within Settings.

  3. On the Platform Settings window, select Workspace Roles or Global Roles within Manage Workspace or Manage Customer, respectively.

  4. In the top right corner of the Roles (Settings) window, click Create Role. To learn more about creating a role, see Add a Role.

  5. On the Add Role window, under Select Permissions, search and select Strategy Group permissions and click Save in the bottom right corner. For more information, see Strategy Group Permissions — Examples

    • All - If you select this, all the permissions will be granted.

    • View - Allows users to apply Strategy Groups to various entities.

    • Create All - Allows users to create Strategy Groups using either/all of the optimizations in Ads Manager and Ads Composer.

    • Create Pacing Control - Allows users to create a Strategy Group with Pacing Control optimization.

    • Create Stop Loss - Allows users to create a Strategy Group with Stop Loss optimization.

    • Create Smart Budget Allocation - Allows users to create a Strategy Group with Smart Budget optimization.

    • Create Smart Bidding - Allows users to create a Strategy Group with Smart Bidding optimization.

    • Create Ad Rotation - Allows users to create a Strategy Group with Ad Rotation optimization.

To Create a Strategy Group

  1. Click the New Tab icon. Under the Sprinklr Marketing (Ads) tab, click Ads Manager within Analyze.

  2. On the Ads Manager window, click Strategy Groups in the top right corner of the section bar.

  3. Click Create Strategy Group in the top right corner of the Strategy Group window.

  4. In the New Strategy Group pane to the right, provide the Basic Details for your Strategy Group. For more information, see Strategy Group — Field Description.

  5. Click Create Strategy in the bottom right corner of the pane.

Basic Details
Strategy Group Name

Enter the name of your strategy group.

Channel

Select from the following channels: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Pinterest, LINE, Google (only Pacing Control), TikTok.

Note: Pacing Control having All as Channel can be used across all Ad Accounts even if they have different Account Time Zones.

Time Zone

Select your strategy group time zone.

Currency

Select a currency from the drop-down menu.

Optimization Details

Automatic reallocation of budget to maximize conversion and minimize CPA.

Automatic optimization of manual bids to minimize CPA.

View spend pacing insights and control your spend.

Evaluate and pause ads that are exceeding your target CPA.

Rotate ads evenly or based on the performance of each Ad Set.

Optimization Metric

Select a metric that you wish will maximize your goal.

Target CPA/Target ROAS

  • Set your target CPA (Cost per Action). This amount will be used as a limiter in Smart Budget, Smart Bidding & Stop Loss based on CPA. The overall objective is to maximize the optimization metric while trying to stay within the CPA limit.

  • Additionally, you can set Target ROAS against Revenue Optimization metrics. Setting Target ROAS against Revenue metrics will provide a deeper insight into what is working for ads, ad groups, or ad campaigns.

Notification Settings - Select Users / Users Groups who will receive notifications related to Strategy Group.
Visible in all workspaces

Select to make the strategy group globally visible to all workspaces.

Workspaces

Select the desired workspace(s) you want the strategy group to be visible in.

View Globally

Select to make the strategy group globally visible to all users/users groups.

Users / Users Groups

Select the desired user(s)/users group(s) you want the strategy group to be visible for.
