Integrating SharePoint with Sprinklr
Updated
By integrating your SharePoint/OneDrive with Sprinklr, you can upload assets like documents, presentations, excel files, image, videos and more directly from your Microsoft account to your Campaigns, Sub-campaigns, Messages and Requests. To do this, you will need to authenticate your Microsoft ID with Sprinklr.
Note: This integration between SharePoint and Sprinklr’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) system is controlled through a dynamic property (DP). However, with the release of Sprinklr 20.2, this property-based integration will be deprecated.
Starting with Sprinklr 20.2, the integration will be controlled by user roles and permissions. Once your account is assigned the Microsoft SharePoint permission, you’ll gain access to the integration.
If you're currently using the DP-based SharePoint integration:
Contact your Success Manager to enable the platform-level SharePoint integration in your environment. Alternatively, you can submit a request at tickets@sprinklr.com.
For your organization, create a role specifically for this integration and assign users to that role. This will grant access to the integration for other users in your organization.
For more information, see SharePoint and Sprinklr DAM Integration.
When uploading an attachment to a Campaign, Sub-campaign, Message or Request, select the SharePoint/OneDrive option from the media uploader. If you don't already have a Microsoft account authenticated with Sprinklr, click Authenticate OneDrive to do so. You may need approval from your IT team before you can authenticate.
Once your Microsoft account is authenticated, you can attach your OneDrive or SharePoint files as reference links by navigating through the OneDrive folders or SharePoint libraries. These attachments are NOT migrated to Sprinklr; instead, a reference is created.
To honor OneDrive's file-sharing governance, Sprinklr does not generate previews for these files. Users can click through to access the files natively.
