What is Sina Weibo Custom Menu

Sprinklr lets you create Sina Weibo custom menus, allowing you to trigger automatic templated interactions with customers through a menu option in Sina Weibo messages. Using custom menus, you can provide customers with information about your brand. The custom menu option allows you to enhance one-to-one engagements with customers, even when your team members aren't available to respond in real-time, leading to better customer experiences and improved efficiency for your team. Use the Sina Weibo custom menu capability of Sprinklr to lead customers through a self-guided workflow.

Before You Begin

Before you create Sina Weibo Custom Menus, ensure that you've added your Sina Weibo Account in Sprinklr. To add your Sina Weibo account, see Add a Sina Weibo Account article.

Creation of Custom Menu in Digital Assets Manager 

Sina Weibo Custom Menus can use Post Assets and URLs. URLs are entered in the Sina Weibo menu builder while Post Assets are created and saved in the Digital Asset Management. 

To Create Custom Menu Asset

  1. Click the New Tab icon Space Add New Tab Icon. Under the Sprinklr Social tab, click Engagement Dashboards within Engage.

  2. Click Create Asset in the top right corner and select Post as the asset type.

  3. In the Create New Asset window, select Sina Weibo from the Channel drop-down menu.

  4. After you have selected the Sina Weibo account, enter the content for the post in the Message box.ModernEngagement_DigitalAssetManagement_CreateNewAsset_SinaWeibo.png

  5. You can also add Custom Links, Content Placeholders, previously created Text Templates or YouTube Videos to the post by clicking the Screen Shot 2018-06-08 at 2.40.26 PM.pngInsert icon.

  6. Click the Emoji Picker icon from the Message box to open the emoji menu. Use the icons at the top to browse categories, or search the emoji. Click your chosen emoji, and it will be added to your message.

  7. Click Photo to add an image from Favorites, Social Asset Manager (SAM), URL, UGC (User Generated Content), or upload from your computer. Click Video to add a video from Favorites, Social Asset Manager, User Generated Content (UGC), or from your computer. For more information, see Use the Media Uploader

  8. Enter the remaining fields as desired. For more information on adding a post asset, see Upload a Post Asset.

  9. You can preview your created asset in the right pane of the Create New Asset window.

  10. Click Save in the bottom right corner to confirm your changes. 

To Configure Custom Menus

Admin Set-up 

Custom Menus for Sina Weibo is configured in Account Settings. To configure menus, you must be an Admin and have the appropriate account permissions.

  1. Click the New Tab icon Space Add New Tab Icon. Under the Governance Console, click Accounts within Platform Setup.

  2. On the Accounts window, click All Channels in the top left corner of the section bar to filter the accounts by Sina Weibo.

  3. Hover over the account's Options icon Space_Icon_Options (Vertical).pngand select Custom Menu. ModernEngagement_OwnedSocialAccounts_SinaWeibo_CustomMenu.png

  4. On the Sina Weibo Custom Menu Configuration window, enter a label for your menu in the Label field and select an action from the Action drop-down menu.ModernEngagement_OwnedSocialAccounts_SinaWeibo_CustomMenu_Configuration.png

  5. Enter the field details for the respective action. For more information, see Action Type — Field Descriptions

  6. Click Add Another Menu Item to add multiple menus.

  7. Click Save in the bottom right corner after setting the menu and submenu options.

    Note:

    When users access your Sina Weibo profile, they will see these menu options you created. Tapping on a menu option will open up the submenu options.

Note: You can add a maximum of three Menu Items and five Sub-Menu Items for each.
