How to add a Snapchat business account in Sprinklr?

In this article, we will cover the steps to add a new Snapchat Business account in Sprinklr.

Snapchat is a camera and messaging app that connects people to their friends and the world. With a Snapchat Business account, you can reach a global audience and drive meaningful results. Once the Snapchat Business account has been enabled in your environment, you can add your Snapchat Business account on Sprinklr just like other accounts.

Note:

Only an Admin (or Business Admin) of the organisation can add Snapchat Business Account in Sprinklr.

Steps to Add a Snapchat Business Account in Sprinklr

  1. Click the New Tab icon Space Add New Tab Icon. Under the Sprinklr Social tab, click Owned Social Accounts within Listen.

  2. In the Accounts (Settings) window, click Add Account in the top right corner. Adding an Snapchat Business Account

  3. In the Add Account window, search and select Snapchat Business from the list of channels.

  4. In the Snapchat log-in window, enter the Username and Password for the account that you want to add.

  5. On the authentication window, follow the prompts to give Sprinklr permission to access your account.

  6. You will be redirected to a second screen on Snapchat. DO NOT click Continue and wait for 5-10 seconds. You will automatically be redirected to Sprinklr.

  7. Next, you'll be able to edit your Account Details and permission.

    • Edit basic details of your account in Account Details, including changing the name of the account as it appears in Sprinklr, changing the Sprinklr User who is the owner of the account, creating a custom character count (which will apply to replies sent in Sprinklr), a default URL shortener, and an auto-populated signature to appear in replies sent from Sprinklr.

    • Under Groups to include Account in, select if you'd like to add the YouTube Account to any Account Groups.

    • Under Permissions, permission channel actions to Users and User Groups who should have access to the account. Learn more in Account Permissions.

    • Under Share this Account Across Spaces, choose the Workspaces that you would like the account to be visible in or share across all Workspaces to make the account visible globally within your Customer environment.

    • Under Subscribers, select Users or User Groups to subscribe to receive account notifications.

    • Under Timezone, select a country and time zone to associate to the account if desired.

    • Under Properties, set any account properties as needed.

  8. Click Save in the bottom right corner to apply your selections.
