Updated

Admins can simplify their tasks by automating the approval process for suggested User Generated Content (UGC). This efficient feature allows you to pre-approve UGC before it even reaches you.

Automating the approval of User Generated Content (UGC) has various benefits:

  • Efficiency: Automated approvals save time, especially for platforms with vast content. This reduces administrative tasks, letting teams prioritize other crucial activities.

  • Quicker Turnaround: Automation ensures UGC goes live swiftly, keeping content current and pertinent—vital in fast-paced sectors.

  • Resource Management: Automated approvals free up team resources for strategic roles, from UGC analysis to user engagement and refining content guidelines.

Steps to Automate Approval of User Generated Content

  1. Access Rule Management: Begin by clicking on "Manage rules" in your Sprinklr Social dashboard.

  2. Create a New Rule: In the Customer (UGC) section, create a new rule. This will be the foundation for the automation.

  3. Define Conditions: Set the rule's condition to trigger when "User Generated Assets" are created or updated.

  4. Refine Condition Values: Specify the desired status values for triggering the rule. Choose "verification required" and "approval pending."

  5. Add Action: Under "Actions," choose "Update User Generated Assets." Select "Status" as the field to update and set it to "Approved."

  6. Activate the Rule: Once configured, add a trigger to the rule and activate it. The system will now automatically approve UGC meeting the defined conditions.
