How to Apply Volumatic Ads Benchmarks using Paid Rules

To Tag an Advertising Campaign via Rule Engine

  1. Click the New Tab icon Space Add New Tab Icon. Under the Sprinklr Marketing - Advertising tab, click Manage Rules within Optimize.

  2. Click Create New Rule in the top right corner of the Rule Engine window.

  3. Follow the steps outlined in Sprinklr Marketing (Ads) Rule Engine to create a rule.

  4. On the Rule Builder window, click theSpace_Icon_Plus_Circle_Gray.png icon and select Add Condition, and set the respective condition fulfilling which, the rule will automatically tag a benchmark.


Tip 

You can also create rules using benchmark values:

  1. In the Edit Condition pane, click Condition Applies to “Metric properties of the Paid Initiatives” or “Metric properties of the Ad Variants”.

  2. From the Condition drop-down menu, select the name of the benchmark value you want to set as a condition for your rule.

5. Click Save in the bottom right corner of the Edit Condition pane.

6. On the Rule Builder window, click theSpace_Icon_Plus_Circle_Gray.png icon and select Add Action. Under Actions To 'Control properties of Paid Initiatives' or Actions To 'Control properties of Ad Variants', select Reporting Benchmark from the Action drop-down menu and set its values to the appropriate benchmark for tagging. 

Note

Reporting on the Paid Initiative level will be associated with all Ad Variants within the campaign. You can edit the Ad Variant level when necessary.

7. Click Save in the bottom right corner of the Edit Action pane.


Tip 

Automated Tagging of Benchmarks within the Rule Engine is extremely helpful if you know that all the campaigns running through a particular Ad Account or having a particular objective are going to be tagged with a specific Benchmark. This will eliminate the efforts of manual tagging.
