Add Task in Kanban View

Overview

There are multiple ways to add Tasks in Kanban view in Project Management. The first method is using the Add Task button which you can learn more about here. Specifically for Kanban view, you can also add a Task by clicking the + icon on top of each Task stack.

Add Task to Kanban Stacks

1. Click the + symbol at the top of a stack OR click the Add Task button on any empty stack. This opens a pop-up window where you can create a new Task.

2. By default, the pop-up provides you with the option to add Task Title, Description, Status, Priority, Assignee, and Due Date.

 3. To add more details or additional fields, click the Options icon, it will open a dropdown containing all the fields associated with the Task in the project.  You can select the appropriate field and fill in its value right away.

5. If you think a field is standard for your project and will need to be filled each time a Task is created, you can pin it alongside the default fields. To do this, hover on the field name in the dropdown menu and click the Pin icon

6. Click the Add button to add the Task to your Task Sheet.
