Create Tasks From Scratch - Tree View
Updated
Tasks for the Digital Twin involve defining sequences of actions or steps that the Digital Twin will follow to accomplish specific objectives or assist users in completing tasks. These tasks can range from simple interactions to complex processes, and they are essential for ensuring that the Digital Twin operates effectively and provides value to users.
The Tree View allows you to arrange the steps of a task in a way that shows how they relate to each other, much like a tree with branches.
The "Dynamic Workflow" and "Decision Box" are nodes within the Tree View that help you indicate decision points and branching pathways. A "Dynamic Workflow" node represents a series of steps in the task that can lead to multiple outcomes or paths based on different conditions.
On the other hand, a "Decision Box" node represents a point in the task where the Digital Twin needs to make a decision based on certain criteria. It acts as a branching point, where the task can follow different paths depending on the decision made by the Digital Twin.
To Create Tasks in Tree View
Click View next to Skills & Tasks within Step 2· Define Skills, Tasks & Routing. This action directs users to the Task Manager interface, where they can access existing tasks or create new ones.
On the Task Manager window, select Create from Scratch to create a new task from scratch rather than using predefined templates.
Next, choose Tree View to organize the actions for this task in a hierarchical structure, indicating various decision points and branching pathways.
On the Task Details window, describe the task. Provide a Name, Task Category, and Description to define the purpose and scope of the task.
Under the Task Governance section, add Guardrails to be used by the twin to ensure compliance. Specify the desired Persona this task will be accessible to while users interact with the digital twin.
Switch to the Task Tree tab and click the addition icon to begin creating a task workflow.
Use the Dynamic Workflow node to add step-by-step prompts for the Digital Twin to follow. Switch between Saved Prompts to select from previously saved prompts and Recommended Prompts to select from the suggestion library.
Click Create Prompt to add custom prompts based on your use case. Add the prompt name, prompt text, and check the Save in Library box to save the prompt to the Saved Prompts library. Use "@" to add created skills in the prompt from the dropdown. You can also add a new skill from here by clicking + New Skill. Add as many prompts as needed for the task.
Once the prompts are added, save the workflow.
Next, based on the user's response, use the Decision Box node to create branching pathways in the task workflow.
Complete the task workflow by adding additional steps and decision points as needed to ensure a comprehensive and user-friendly interaction flow. Click Save at the bottom.
