Backfill Listening Data in Sandbox

Topic Backfill Request in Social Listening allows you to access historic data quickly. You can populate new topics with historic data, providing instant access and insight into past conversations.
To Backfill Listening Data
Click the New Tab icon
. Under the Sprinklr Insights tab, click Topics within Listen.
In the Topics window, hover over the desired Topic's Options icon and select Backfill.
On the Request Backfill pop-up window, fill in the details as per the requirements. For more information, see Request Backfill — Field Descriptions.
If you wish, you can select the Execute Rule checkbox to trigger the rule on the backfill data.
Click Submit in the bottom right corner of the Request Backfill pop-up window.
You will receive an in-platform notification when your backfill data is ready for download.

Term | Description |
Sources | Select the desired source from the drop-down menu. |
Start Date | Select the start date from the date picker pop-up window. |
End Date | Select the end date from the date picker pop-up window. |
Execute Rule | Check the box to execute the rule on the backfill data. |
Things to Remember
You can't fetch live listening data in Sandbox Environment.
You can execute rules on the backfill listening data in the Sandbox Environment only.
If you backfill on topics in the Sandbox to get some data, it will not consume mentions.
