A TikTok Pixel is a tracking code that can be added to your website to collect data on how TikTok users interact with your website after clicking on a TikTok ad or link. The pixel is a piece of code that you place on your website, similar to a Facebook pixel, which allows you to track user behavior, optimize your advertising campaigns, and measure the effectiveness of your TikTok advertising efforts.
By placing a TikTok Pixel on your website, you can track actions such as page views, purchases, and other types of conversions that happen after someone clicks on a TikTok ad or link. This information can then be used to create custom audiences, optimize your ad targeting, and create more effective TikTok ad campaigns.
To use a TikTok Pixel, you'll need to create a TikTok Ads account and follow the instructions to generate a pixel code. You can then place the code on your website's header or footer so that it loads on every page of your site. Once the pixel is installed, you can start tracking user behavior and optimizing your advertising efforts on TikTok.
