Things to Remember

• The User or User Group will be notified that an administrator has restricted specific metrics.

• If a widget that was created before metrics were restricted and contain a restricted metric, the widget will not populate. If you refresh these widgets, you will get an error message that the widget contains a restricted metric. Only when the metric is removed will the widget populate.

• You will not be able to search the Restricted metrics while creating a new widget.

• Once restricted, the metrics will not populate in the Ads Manager Customized Columns as well.

• Custom Metrics comprising of a restricted metric will not be available for the restricted user.

• After an administrator restricts metrics, it will be updated in the restricted user or user group within five minutes after clicking Save.

• Users, who have restricted reporting enabled and try to use time filters before the permissioned date, will receive the following error: "Reporting is restricted for the current user. Please select a start time not less than "20XX-XX-XX". The date will be the acceptable date that the user can view.
