Other Paid Rule Use Cases

This article will cover examples of the following use cases for Paid Rules:

  1. Stopping ads containing red flag keywords from running

  2. Notifying users if an ad is disapproved by native channels

  3. Notifying users if a Paid Initiative is missing an end date

  4. Notifying users if an ad is active but not spending

  5. Pausing an ad from running at a speficied time

  1. Click the New Tab icon. Under the Sprinklr Marketing (Ads) tab, click Manage Rules within Optimize.

  2. In the top-right corner of the Rule Engine window, click Create New Rule.

  3. On the New Rule window, provide the rule details and click Next.

  4. On the Rule Builder window, click the Addition icon and set the Conditions and Actions. For more information, see here.

This Rule should help manage risk by pausing any ads don't match the brand's language standards.

  • The conditions can't specify that an end date is actually missing, so instead the condition looks for end dates not between now and some time in the distant future.

Note: Strongly recommend tagging the ads you want to temporarily pause with a Custom Field and use that in the first condition, otherwise the Rule could pause all ads. Alternatively, have some way of filtering the ads, i.e. "Paid Initiatiive Name Contains..."
