Add Users and User Groups to a Queue

Overview

You add users and user groups to a suggestion queue to allow them to perform actions based on the provided queue privileges. A suggestion queue admin can add users or user groups in provisioned user or a view permission. Once users are added in the suggestion queue, and if the suggester selects the queue containing the same users, then any suggestions performed in the post will be rerouted to the user for further actions.

While suggesting a post, the suggester can either save the post as Save as Draft or click Suggest. You can perform the following actions:

Save as Draft Edit, publish, or delete.
Suggest Ignore or publish.

Add Users or User-groups to the Queue

  1. From the main menu go to Administrator > Settings.
  2. On the top left corner click on the Icon_Hamburger_Menu.png button to open the left pane.
  3. Click on Queues under Manage Client or Manage Partner depending on your requirements.
  4. On the top right corner, click Add Queue and enter the details. See Add a New Queue — Field Descriptions.
  5. Click Add.

Field Description
Name A unique name for the queue.
Queue Type From the Queue type drop-down lists, choose one of the available options:
  • Inbound Messages
  • Suggestion Queue
  • Approval Queue
  • Case Queue

You cannot change the queue type, once it is created.

Descriptions Enter a brief description about the queue.
Subscribers Select the users or the user groups.
