Updated

Dynamic User Groups allow users within the same Task Queue to be grouped together in a single User Group.

Create a Dynamic User Group

  1. Click the New Tab icon Space Add New Tab Icon. Under Governance Console, select All Settings within Platform Setup.

  2. On the Platform Settings window, select User Groups within Manage Workspace.

  4. On the Create User Group window, select Dynamic Group. This will have the system dynamically add all users that have the defining property specified in the next step. When users are added to the system and added to their Task Queue, these dynamic User Groups will automatically place these users into the appropriate Task Queues.

If you would like to manually add users, select Static Group. Follow these steps to create a static User Group.

  5. Enter a User Group Name and a Description (optional). The User Group Name, for organizational purposes, should be the same as the Task Queue name.

For the purpose of demonstration, this User Group will be the WF: Analyst User Group.

  6. Now, you must define the Dynamic Group property that will be assigned to all users in the corresponding Task Queue of the Dynamic Group. Select Task Queues as the Attribute and select the appropriate Value corresponding to the Task Queue/Dynamic User Group.

For the purpose of demonstration, the Attribute will be Task Queues and the Value will be the Analyst Task Queue.
