VK User Roles 

There are four roles in a VK Community:

1. Administrator

2. Community Editor

3. Moderator

4. Member

Only Administrators and Community Editors may publish Community Posts. Because of this, Sprinklr will only add VK profiles for Administrators and Community Editors to authorize publishing, either through Quick Publisher or the Engagement Dashboards.

In the event that an Administrator or a Community Editor is demoted on VK to a Moderator or Member, they will not be able to post any outbound messages through Quick Publisher or the Engagement Dashboards. Sprinklr will offer no notification if a user is demoted. If a Moderator or Member attempts publishing a Community Post, the post will simply save as a draft on the Global Editorial Calendar and will not push live.

Steps to Add Vkontakte Page Account

1. Click the New Tab icon  and select Settings under Sprinklr Social.

2. From the Settings window, select Accounts from the list of options to open your Accounts Settings. You can also search for it in the search bar above.

3. In the top-right corner of the Accounts (Settings) window, click Add Account.

4. On the Add Account window, select VK Page from the list of channels.

Once added, Vkontakte pages can be provisioned to users and user groups, leveraged in the Rule Engine, and engagement can be managed via Engagement dashboards.

Steps to Manage Vkontakte Page Account

1. Click the New Tab icon  and select Settings under Sprinklr Social.

2. Select Manage Workspace from the options on the left-hand side and select Accounts from the list of options. You can also search for it in the search bar above. 

3. Click All Channels in the top left corner of the section bar to filter the accounts by VK Page.

4. Hover over the account's Options icon  and select the desired option to take different actions on the account. For more information on different actions, see Manage Account. You can also activate push notification on your VK account.
   

To Activate Push Notifications in Vkontakte

1. Click the New Tab icon  and select Settings under Sprinklr Social.

2. Select Manage Workspace from the options on the left-hand side and select Accounts from the list of options. You can also search for it in the search bar above. 

3. Click All Channels in the top left corner of the section bar to filter the accounts by VK Page.

4. Hover over the account's Options icon  and select Push Notification Activation Steps.

5. To activate push notification on your account kindly follow the steps mentioned in the VK Page Account Activation Steps pop-up window.
