How to Create a Paid Custom Widget

Summary

Reporting Insights in Sprinklr centralizes data from all your social channels and accounts. While adding a widget to your Ads Reporting dashboard, you can use the Widget Library to easily customize and add pre-existing templates to your dashboard. You can also use the widget editor, where you make a widget from scratch.

Selecting Widget from Widget Library:

  1. Click the New Tab icon Space Add New Tab Icon. Under the Sprinklr Marketing - Advertising tab, click Ads Reporting within Analyze.

  2. On the Ads Reporting Home, select a custom dashboard where you would like to add widgets.

  3. On the Custom Reporting Dashboard, click Add Widget in the top right corner. 

  4. Select Widget Library tab at the top center.

  5. Select the desired widget from the libraby and click on 'Add to Dasboard' or 'Customize Widget' if you want to make any changes to it.

  6. Click on Done.

Steps to Create a Custom Widget​:

  1. Click the New Tab icon Space Add New Tab Icon. Under the Sprinklr Marketing (Ads) tab, click Ads Reporting within Analyze.

  2. On the Ads Reporting Home, select a custom dashboard where you would like to add widgets.

  3. On the Custom Reporting Dashboard, click Add Widget in the top right corner. 

  4. On the Create Custom Widget window, enter the details as required.

5. Click Add to Dashboard in the bottom right corner to add your widget to the dashboard.

Create Custom Widget — Field Descriptions

Widget Name

Enter a name for the widget.

Add Description

Click to enter the description of your widget.

Data Source

Select Paid as the Data Source for your Widget for Ads Reporting. This will be pre-selected by default in case you create dashboard through Advertising.

Select a visualization for your widget

Select a chart type for your widget.

What would you like to plot on your widget?
Add metrics/dimensions to your widget. Click Add all metrics/dimensions to select both Metrics and Dimensions. Metrics and Dimensions will be shown in groups for you to easily differentiate.

Note

On selecting metrics, you will have several operators available to use on your reporting data based on a given date range.

Operators

Sum (selected by default)

The sum total of all the records in the given date range.

Average

The arithmetic mean of the selected metric for the given date range.

Sum of all the records in the given date range / The number of records in the given date range

Min

The minimum of all the records in the given date range.

Max

The maximum of all the records in the given date range.

Change

The relative change in the selected metric for the given date range.

Sum of all the records in the previous date range - Sum of all the records in the given date range

Percentage

The percentage value of the record for the given date range.

Current record / (Sum of all the records in the given date range) x 100

% Change

The relative percentage change in the selected metric for the given date range.

((Sum of all the records in the previous date range) - (Sum of all the records in the given date range)) / (Sum of all the records in the previous date range)

Percentile

The current record as a given percentile of all the records in order of size.

For example, the 95th percentile of Spent depicts that 95% of the observations may be found below this value for the particular date range.

Contextual Percentile

When you fetch reporting on post-performance across several accounts related to the same campaign or title, Contextual Percentile provide quick contextualization, enabling you quickly understand top-performing posts within a specific context.

Configuration

(The configuration may differ based on the selected visualization type)

Set the configuration for your custom widget as desired. You can select from the following:

  • Do you want to Label Axis? - Provide a custom name to your reporting widget axes.

  • Show Total - This shows the sum total of the data at the top of the selected metrics' column.

  • Auto Refresh - Specify a timeframe to automatically refresh your widget data.

  • Add Pivots/Grouping - Select a dimension to group your reporting data for ease. For example, group Paid Initiatives by their Day of Week.

  • Include Data Labels - Labels the applicable chart with individual reporting data.

  • Include data points with no value (Trend widgets only) - Select to display data-points with records having no-values as zero-valued points in your trend widgets.

  • Define Y/X Axis Scale - Set the chart scale in terms of Minimum Y-Axis (Y1) Bound, Maximum Y-Axis (Y1) Bound, and Step Size (Interval) on Y-Axis (Y1) between the minimum and maximum values. The maximum and minimum values will be adjusted based on the number of divisions.

Filters

Apply custom filters, define additional properties, and set personalized targets.

Ignore all Dashboard Filters

Check the box to ignore all filters at dashboard level and only consider your widget level filters.

Display Options

Customize your widget display options as desired. You can configure the following:

  • In one page, show me these many entries - The number of entries you want within your widget.

  • Sort entries by - Select the metric/dimension based on which your widget data will be sorted. Click the Arrow icon alongside to sort the data in ascending or descending order of the metric/dimension.

  • Auto Format (enabled by default) - This will automatically format the number of decimal places in your reporting data. Select Off to specify the number of decimal places you want in your reporting data.
