Global and Workspace Users

Updated

User types in the Sprinklr Platform are divided into four levels, shown below from the highest level of access to the lowest level of access.

Note: Workspace-level roles override Global-level roles.

Global Admin

Global Admin Capabilities
Global Admin Limitations
  • View all Workspace environments within the Customer environment.

  • View all social channels.

  • Publish on all social channels.

  • Assign Roles and Permissions.

  • Change Global-level settings in Administration, including the Rule Engine.

  • You must have permissions to access all required modules via roles and permissions.

  • Workspace-level roles and permissions will override Global-level roles and permissions. If given a different user type, like Workspace User, in a specific Workspace environment, you will have that user type in the Workspace environment (all Workspace environments will still be available for you to access).

  • You cannot be added to User Groups within Workspace environments unless you are specifically added to the Workspace environment first.

  • New dashboards must be shared with you individually or through dynamic User Groups.
