Before you Begin
Ensure you have reviewed the articles on uploading files into audience profile, using SFTP as an external source in scheduled exports, and importing data through Data Pipeline.
Overview
You can set up an SFTP push into the Audience Profile via Data Pipeline at a specified interval.
Steps
Set up the required SFTP details.
Click the New Tab icon. Under the Platform Modules, click All Settings within Listen.
On the Platform Settings window, select External Sources within Manage Workspace.
On the External Sources window, click Add External Source in the top right corner.
On the External Source Setup popup window, select SFTP and fill in the mandatory details. Click Save.
Please note that you will not be able to save if you enter incorrect details. If you encounter any errors while uploading, please refer to the FTP/SFTP Setup — Fields & Description section.
Setup the data pipeline
Follow the steps to create a normal pipeline.
From the dropdown, select the SFTP you created in step 1. Ensure all details are the same; otherwise, you will not be able to save and proceed to the next step.
Click the + icon and select Generic Sink.
Select Sprinklr Profile from the Select Sink Element dropdown.
Map the fields from the sheet to the sink element.
Note: The three fields shown above are mandatory. Rows/entries without these fields will be ignored during the sync.
Select the frequency of repeat. The lowest supported frequency is 5 minutes.
Click Save in the bottom right corner to save the changes. In the top-right corner of the Pipeline window, toggle the Pipeline status icon to activate your pipeline.
Once the pipeline is activated click Manual Run in the bottom right corner and upload the file. Click Run.
After setting up your pipeline and waiting for some time, navigate to the Audience Profile window to verify if the upload was successful. If you have a high volume of profiles, use filters to find profiles specific to your file.
