Import Data via Configurator

You can import data for FAQ Bots, Surveys, Assignment Engine, and Scheduler Engine via Configurator in Platform Settings. With Import from Excel option in Platform Settings, you can directly import data from an excel sheet to the dashboard.

To learn more about getting this capability enabled in your environment, please work with your Success Manager.

To Import Data via Configurator 

  1. Click the New Tab icon. Under Governance Console, click All Settings within Platform Setup.

  2. Click Configurator in the Platform Settings window, and select Import Configurations.

  3. In the top right corner of the Import Configurations window, click Import from excel.

  4. On the Import pop-up window, click Upload under Import as a new file, to upload a new EXCEL/CSV file.

  5. To replace an existing file, click Replace an existing file and select an already present file from the Existing File dropdown and click Upload.

  6. Click Import to confirm your configuration.

Note:

  • For new configurator imports, the availability status will not be updated for a user.

  • There is no limit for uploading the number of rows while importing the data. Although it is advised to upload rows below 5k and the file size to be within 50MB for faster uploading.

  • The tab name and the sheet name should be the same while importing the file as it was in the export file.

Tip:

After the import process, if there are any errors, the status will reflect as Completed With Errors. To check and fix the errors, click the Download icon on the left side of the Import Configurations window. If there is no error, the status will be Completed.
