The WhatsApp Business display name is your business name that customers see on your WhatsApp Business profile. When you add a new phone number to your WhatsApp Business account in the Meta Business Manager, you assign a display name to it.

Display names should be related to your business and must not violate WhatsApp Commerce and Business policies. In addition, the display name must comply with display name guidelines to send messages using the WhatsApp Business platform or to qualify for the WhatsApp official business account.

Steps to update display name in Facebook Business Manager -

​

1. Select the required business portfolio and click on settings.

2. Select Whatsapp Accounts under Accounts section

3. Select the required WABA and click on Whatsapp Manager

4. Click on the pencil icon under names section to enter the new display name.

Please note that your businesses can change the display names up to 10 times in a 30-day period. Once the 30-day period is up, a new 30-day period will begin and your businesses can again change the display names up to 10 times in this new 30-day period.
