Data Mapping 

Important: Please note that only mapped columns in the Data Mapping Pane will be ingested into Sprinklr. Please ensure that you map all the columns you want to ingest. 

1. On the right side of the Configuration Screen, you can see all your columns with the Select Mapping Field dropdown. 

2. Click on the dropdown menu and select the Sprinklr field you want to map your column to. 
    

3. Users can also create Custom fields in Sprinklr directly through FPDI. 
    

4. Select the Create Custom Field button in the Select Mapping Field Dropdown 
    

5. Select Field Type, Enter Field Name, Add Values and create a custom field according to your needs and map your column to your created custom field. 

Creating and Importing Data Template 

When frequently uploading similar data files users do not need to map the same columns to the same Sprinklr fields each time they upload their files. Users can create and save data templates which can be imported with just two clicks. 

1. To save a data template, select the Save as Mapping Template check box once you have mapped all required columns. When you click on Save to import the file, the Data Mapping Template will be saved.  
    

2. To use a data template, Click on Import Mapping Template button on the top right. 
     

3. Select the Mapping Template you want to import and click on Done. 
    

4. In case you have selected a Mapping Template you do not want to use, click on the Trash Bin icon to remove the Mapping Template, and select the right one.
