Create a Message using Advanced Publisher

Within the Sprinklr platform, you can access the Advanced publisher to create a Message. You can create, plan and publish content on different social and non-social channels using the Advanced Publisher.
To add a message from the Advanced Publisher
Here’s how you can Access the Advanced Publisher.
Overview section
In the Overview section, fill in the required details regarding the basic properties of the Message.
Overview - Field Description
Field | Description |
Account Type | Select the account type the message will be posted from. |
Template | Select a template for the message. Templates are based on Account Type selection. You can also create and publish multiple posts of the same account type and templates in one message. |
Message Name | Enter a name for the message. The message name will not affect anything in publishing. It is used for easy identification of messages in the Global Editorial Calendar and Production Dashboard. |
Campaign | Select the Campaign the message is associated with. If you create a message from a Campaign, the field will be auto-populated with that Campaign. Click the Set as Default checkbox to make a campaign as a default campaign for all your messages. |
Sub-Campaign | Select the Sub-Campaign(s) the message is associated with. The Sub-Campaign dropdown menu will show only when a Campaign is selected, populated with sub-campaigns in the selected Campaign. |
Source Language | Select the language used to create the message. This is important for translations. |
Is Message Confidential | Check the Is Message Confidential checkbox to make your message confidential. The content of confidential messages will be visible to only selected users while it will appear blurred to all other users. |
URL Shortener | Select a URL Shortner for the message. |
Content section
In the Content section, fill the required details in the respective fields. Fields will vary based on your Account Type and Template selected in the Overview Section.
While creating content using the Advanced Publisher, you can add assets from the Digital Asset Manager and reuse content across various social channels.

Content – Features
You can add rich text such as bold, italic, bullets, numbering, underline, style - heading 1, 2, and hyperlinks to your content template for Press Release account type.
You can highlight your text and view the total word count. Apart from this, you can view the word count of the selected text as part of the overall text. You can also track changes made in the content, view revision history, view page outline, and implement borders. The same capability is available in campaign briefs as well.
You can also Export the document editor content template in HTML or PDF format. It is a convenient way to provide insights to co-users (who cannot access the platform) and acquaint them with the know-how of the respective campaign.
For an Instagram Business Account, you can directly publish a post by selecting Direct Publish. This feature allows you to get your content live, directly from the selected account whereas in Publish via Mobile, you first need to create a message in Sprinklr and then publish the same from your mobile phones.
For Facebook and Twitter, you can publish your posts as Dark Posts by selecting Publish this Post as Dark Post. Enabling this feature allows you to improve the overall marketing experience wherein you can not only create different ads for different audiences but also customize ads for each target audience segment.
For a verified Facebook Page Account, you can tag your content as branded by checking the box alongside Make this post Branded Content and selecting the account for tagging from the drop-down list. This allows for verified pages to publish branded content by tagging third-party products, brands, or sponsors.
Media can be uploaded from your device, the Asset Manager, or from User Generated Content. A live preview will update in real-time on the right.
Scheduling and Targeting section
Note: You can schedule a message outside the date range of the associated campaign and sub-campaign start and end date. |
Select an Account in the Scheduling and Targeting section you wish to publish the message.
From the Repeat Post dropdown, select Does Not Repeat, Repeat Daily for a Week, Repeat Weekly for a Month, Repeat Fortnightly for a Month, Repeat Monthly for a Year, or Custom Repetition to make your message a recurring post.
Select a Schedule Date & Time and click Apply to specify when the message will be published.
Apply Targeting which means the customer base to whom your message should be directed when published, you can select or add new audience from Target Audience dialogue box.
Apply Gating which means the customer segment who should not receive this message after it is published. You can select or add a new audience from the Target Audience dialogue box.
Select the relevant fields and set appropriate parameters to and then finalize the same by clicking Set Target Audience, this can be done for both Targeting and Gating.
While scheduling a post, enable Smart Scheduling. The Smart Scheduling option intelligently picks out the best time to publish a post based on the time of the day and the account selected.
Review section
After completing all the sections, it is time to have a final look at your work. You cannot edit anything in this section to do so you will have to scroll back to the original segment.
You can observe the look and feel of the message here and choose to Save as Draft or Schedule it for release according to your need.
Also you can switch views of your post for Desktop view or Mobile view.
