Clone Macros
Updated
Overview
Sprinklr now allows existing macros to be cloned. Cloning macros lets you quickly create new macros using the configuration of an existing macro. You can use this feature to create macros that will have similar configurations without having to manually enter individual fields for all macros.
This help topic is for the Sprinklr V3 version, which has been deprecated. A corresponding article for the Sprinklr Space version is coming soon. Check out our Getting Started Guides to learn more about the Sprinklr Space Experience. |
Tip: Keep in mind that the cloning of a macro applies to all aspects of its configuration, including its visibility: the share settings will be copied to your cloned macro, meaning that if a macro is shared globally and then cloned, the cloned macro will be shared globally as well. The share settings of a macro can be changed by clicking Share on any saved macro in Administration Settings. |
To Clone a Macro
- In the top navigation bar, in the Administration drop-down menu, select Settings.
- In the upper left corner, click the icon to open the menu, and click Macros under Manage Client.
- Click Clone on the macro you wish to copy.
- By default, the cloned macro will be named Copy of [name of existing macro]. This name can be changed if desired.
- Once cloned, you can edit your cloned macro as desired.
