Location Insights – Drill down options
Drill down is a feature that lets the user analyze more specific data points in a widget. It gives the user an in-depth view of a selected metric in one click, keeping the original widget accessible at all times.
Location Insights – Dimensions
Dimension | Description |
Business Location | Gives the distribution of data based on the location. This is the name of the business location the user enters in the Sprinklr platform. |
Word Cloud for Attribute Insight | Drill down to view the top attribute insight phrases predicted by the AI Model. |
Word Cloud for Subject Insight | Drill down to view the top subject insight phrases predicted by the AI Model. |
Brand Name (Business Locations) | Brand Name refers to the user-provided/Sprinklr-identified brand of business location for which the review has been pulled into Sprinklr. |
Location Insights – Sentiment | Phrase or insight level sentiment predicted by the Sprinklr Location Insights Model. Every insight phrase predicted by the Sprinklr LI model has a separate sentiment attached to it. The sentiment can be Positive, Negative, or Neutral. |
Subject Category | Represents 'what' is being talked about in the customer provided reviews. |
Attribute Category | Represents 'how' their subject categories are being talked about. |
Country (Business Locations) | Displays country names associated with business locations. |
City (Business Locations) | Displays city names associated with business locations. |
Zip Code (Business Locations) | Displays zip codes associated with business locations. |
Other generic dimensions

Domain | Shows the distribution of mentions across different domains from which the data is being sourced. |
Show Conversation Stream | Drill down on any widget to view the review messages/mention. |
Show Trend | Drill down on any metric to view how the same has trended over time. |
Sentiment | Shows the distribution of sentiment on the message level. |
Created Time | The time and date at which the message was created on the native website. |
Source | Shows the distribution of mentions across different listening sources from which the data is being sourced, e.g. Reviews, Forums, Blogs, Twitter, Facebook, etc. |
Location Insights – Metrics
Below is the list of standard metrics available for different analysis & calculation. The metrics can be used in the widgets and cannot be used as a drill down option.
Metric | Description |
Experience Score | All insights powered by Locations Insights are scored based on the sentiment attached to it. The scores are calculated as follows -
Formula for Experience Score: 100*(Number of Positive Insights) + 50*(Number of Neutral Insights) + 0*(Number of Negative Insights)/ (Total Insights) For example, for this message – "I love the food, but it seems a bit pricey. However, will definitely recommend the place" Experience Score of the message = (100*2+0*1)/3 = 67 |
Insights | The number of insights the AI Model has predicted in a message. |
Positive Location Insights Count | The number of positive insights predicted by AI Model in a message. |
Negative Location Insights Count | The number of negative insights predicted by AI Model in a message. |
Neutral Location Insights Count | The number of neutral insights predicted by AI Model in a message. |
Star Rating | The star rating left by a user for review on any review page. |
Mentions | The actual review left by the user on native domain. |
Location-based information through custom fields
Users can also drill-down on specific widgets to view distribution by other meta location information which the user enters. Custom Fields vary from customer to customer, as different customers have different use cases. For example, if a brand wants to see where their outlets are present, so a custom field can be added which maps every business location added to the platform where it is located like airport, mall, streets, etc.
