To create Smart Alerts for a practical use case

Creating Smart Alerts for Product Insights is similar to an alert configuration in the Listening module. The same has been covered in this article.

To create Volumetric Alerts for a practical use case

Let us dive into a sample use case corresponding to the Product Insights module and see how a Custom Volumetric Alert is configured for the same.

Note: The Product Insights and Location Insights module is now merged with the Listening Alert module.

As an Analyst at a Consumer goods company, you want to get alerted on specific insights on your brand’s product launches by hearing customer feedback across multiple review sources.

You launched your product on 1st January and now you want to monitor any anomalies after a week of the launch –

  • Reviews on your new product launch.

  • Interested specifically in a few attributes which were the major characteristics of the product.

  • You want to be alerted when the Average star rating of your products goes outside a range of [3-4].

  • You want this aggregate star rating to be calculated over the last 7 days (the first week after the launch).

  • You want to be further alerted if there is a rise/dip in the metric of 0.1 units so that you can keep regular tabs on the trend.

  • Send mail to a list of recipients including those who have access to Sprinklr and other external folks.

  • You want to add a custom line to the mail according to the configuration details.

  • You want to include timestamps in every alert mail.
