Creating Article Translations

Updated

In Sprinklr, managing translations is made easy. When creating a new article or editing an existing one, you can simply select the desired language setting. This streamlined process allows for efficient management of translations within the platform.

Adding Language Setting

When creating a new article, choose the Language Setting and add the grouped or ungrouped countries. After adding, set the preferred Base Language from the selected countries.

Adding a New Translation

Navigate to the article editor and locate the country dropdown in the top left corner. Click on it to access the option of adding additional countries or groups within the same language setting. This action will generate a new variant of the articles associated with the selected countries or groups. Proceed to edit and save the new variants according to the specific adjustments or additions required.

Click the language dropdown to view available transactions of the article. The pin icon will be visible alongside the base language.

In case you want to add a new language, click the Add Languages button. Select from the available list of languages and click Add.

Removing a Translation

Open the article editor and select the country dropdown located in the top left corner to remove countries from specific groups.

This action will transition the removed translations to an inactive state, while simultaneously creating new draft variants for the remaining articles and translations. After making the necessary adjustments, save and approve the remaining article variants.

Compare Mode for Translation

While translating your article into another language, you can open it in the compare mode to compare it with the base language. Click the Compare Mode icon in the top right corner and the article in the base language will open in the view mode on the left.

Click the Show Article Outline icon in the top left corner to navigate to different headings of the base article.

Note: Compare mode is available only to compare a translation with its base language article.
