What are Brand Groups?

Brand groups are entities in Benchmarking that contain a set of brands within it.

These can be tagged with a unique name and be used as dashboard/section/widget-level filters. There is no upper limit for the number of brands to be added to a brand group, so any number of brands can be added to a brand group and a brand can be part of multiple brand groups.

Use cases of Brand Groups –

  1. It can be a tedious task to add the same set of brands in multiple dashboards if the count is high, creating a brand group will make the task easier as you can add all the brands by using the Brand Group filter at the dashboard/section/widget level.

  2. Big Industries and enterprises contain various fields within the organization and if you want to know the performance of each individual sector then adding the respective brands under a unique title will make the dashboard easily readable.

  3. You can create static or dynamic brand groups, dynamic brand groups are created by adding the brands tagged with particular custom properties.
