Add Notes in Rule Engine

In Rule Engine, you can add an action to update notes with a defined message. This feature is available only in Inbound, Queue, Listening, SLA and Workflow Update Rules.

Use the Feature

  1. Click the New Tab icon Screen Shot 2017-09-25 at 1.52.25 PM.png and select Rule Engine under the Social Core Cloud.
     
  2. In the top right corner, select Create New Rule and click New Rule.

  3. Provide a name and an optional description for your new Rule. In Context select Inbound, Queue, Listening, SLA, or Workflow Update Rules.

  4. In the Rule Engine Builder, add Rule Conditions.

  5. Then click the Space_Icon_Plus_Circle_Gray.pngicon and select Add Action.

  6. In the Edit Action, under Actions To "Change properties of Message" select Add a Note.  Then add the note in the Input Text. Click Save.
