Know your Email Account Type
Updated
To integrate your email account with Sprinklr Service, follow the specific instructions based on your account type:
Google Email Service Provider
Personalized Domain Account (@brand.com)
If your email address uses a custom domain (Example, yourname@yourcompany.com), you are utilizing Google's G Suite (now known as Google Workspace). This service allows the use of a custom domain along with Gmail's infrastructure.
Default Gmail Account (@gmail.com)
If your email address ends in @gmail.com, you are using Google's standard Gmail service.
For both personalized domain and standard Gmail accounts, add your email account by following the steps in our guide: Adding Gmail Accounts. This guide offers detailed instructions for integrating both types of Gmail accounts.
Note: Before adding a Gmail account in Sprinklr, please ensure that you check the Gmail sending limits -

If your expected volume exceeds Gmail’s limits, consider using a Sprinklr domain account instead(Read more about it here).
Microsoft Email Service Provider
Microsoft supports two types of email accounts: free Outlook accounts and subscription-based Exchange accounts. Below are the details and instructions for each :
Outlook Account (@outlook.com)
This free email service from Microsoft typically has addresses ending in @outlook.com. To integrate with our service, follow the standard process for adding an Outlook account..
Exchange Account (@brand.com)
These are subscription-based exchange accounts primarily used by organizations. These accounts offer enhanced features and are available in three types:
Standalone Exchange Accounts
These are individual Exchange email addresses with a personalized domain (For example, yourname@yourcompany.com) providing robust email services for business needs.
Shared Mailboxes
These are designed for scenarios where multiple users need access to the same mailbox. Common use cases include general company information addresses, support teams, reception desks, or any functional group. Administrators grant permissions, allowing users to send emails as or on behalf of the shared mailbox address.
On-Premise Exchange Accounts
These are hosted on organization's own servers or data center(rather than the cloud), and are used by businesses requiring greater control over their email infrastructure and data security.
