What is Profile/ Domain-based Listening?

Profile/Domain-based Listening or social analysis can provide valuable insights into the behavior and preferences of different groups of users and can help organizations to make data-driven decisions and to better understand their target audience.

Profile/Domain-based Listening

Profile/Domain-based Listening helps you create a listening topic around specific Profile Lists and Domain Lists. This type of Listening can be used to listen to specific influencers, a set of specific domain sources, and more.

Note:

  • For the fetching of results, it is mandatory to add at least one of the following – Twitter profiles, Profile List, Domains, or Domain List.

  • Domains can include News, Reddit, Facebook, Quora domains.

To create a Profile/Domain-based Listening Topic, follow the steps given below –

  1. Click the New Tab icon. Under Sprinklr Insights, click Topics within Listen.

  2. On the Topics window, click Add Topic in the top right corner. To learn more about how to set up a new Topic and its query, read – Creation of Topic.

  3. On the Topic Details tab, after entering/selecting the name and other details for your Topic, select Profile/Domain Based as your Query Type. Click Next to go to the next tab.

  4. On the Setup Profile tab, select Partner Profile Lists, Client Profile Lists, Twitter Profiles, and Domains.

  5. After selecting the profile(s) and/or domain(s), create the Topic query (basic or advanced). Click Next to go to the next tab.

  6. Select the sources and other details. Click Save Topic in the bottom right corner.

Note: You can select any one of the following input options (Profiles or Domains) to fetch mentions.
