By creating an Account-based Listening Topic, you can uncover valuable and precise insights and analyze your own brand account.

What is an Account-based Listening?

Account-based Listening is a type of listening that allows you to fetch specific/relevant mentions around your various brands' accounts. This helps you filter and remove any ambiguity or spam to get only those insights that are focused on your brand handles.

Note: Using the operators, you can tighten the scope and get better results.

How to fetch only those mentions which are relevant to your analysis?

In Sprinklr, you can add your brand-owned or paid account and listen to your use case-specific comments/ mentions or fans engaging with your account with the query section. 

Account-based Listening Topic

The Account-based Listening Topic helps you create a Topic to listen to on your own social media accounts. It only looks at the content that comes to the account which is linked inside the Sprinklr platform.

To create an Account-based Listening Topic, follow the steps given below –​

  1. Click the New Tab icon. Under Sprinklr Insights, click Topics within Listen.

  2. On the Topics window, click Add Topic in the top right corner. To learn more about how to set up a new Topic and its query, read – Creation of Topic.

  3. On the Topic Details tab, after entering/selecting the name and other details for your Topic, select Account Based Listening as your Query Type. Click Next to go to the next tab.

  4. On the Setup Accounts tab, select the accounts from which you want to include messages. Only owned account which are added inside Sprinklr can be used here.

  5. After selecting the account(s), create the Topic query (basic or advanced). Click Next to go to the next tab.

  6. Select the sources and other details. Click Save Topic in the bottom right corner.
